About donation of mobile laboratories of rapid diagnosis as a gift from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus

Under the conditions of growing integration processes and regional cooperation countries’ potential to react on infectious outbreaks, to detect them and take preventive measures becomes of particular importance for sanitary security of the territory.

In accordance with the regulation of the Russian Federation Government Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) continues to support material, technical and methodical programs of implementation of International Health Regulations on the territory of CIS member states.

In the framework of the program two mobile laboratories of rapid diagnosis intended to make indication of highly dangerous and other natural focal contagious matters both in biological material and in natural environments by the methods of accelerated rapid diagnosis were donated to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The mobile laboratories of rapid diagnosis designed on the basis of chassis “Gazel” of cross-country capacity are fitted with independent life-support system and may be used in any emergency situations of epidemiologic character and also in regular daily regime.

During the process of donation experts of laboratory facilities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were taught the rules of the maintenance and equipment of the mobile laboratories and the main research procedures with modern diagnostic methods.

This mechanism of non-repayable help promotes effective strengthening of the potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan in fulfilling requirements of IHR (International Health Regulations) aimed at timely detection and prevention of dangerous infectious outbreaks.

Earlier two mobile laboratories were delivered to the Republic of Belarus. In 2016 the deliveries of the similar laboratories to the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan are planned.
